Uiteindelijk werd door inzet van een pseudokoop een link gevonden naar de vermoedelijke daders die verantwoordelijk waren voor deze en nog meer diefstallen van oldtimers. Uiteindelijk leidde de zoektocht naar een loods bij een agrarisch bedrijf te Kootwijkerbroek. Aldaar stuitte John Vullers niet op 1 maar een groot aantal vermoedelijk van diefstal afkomstige oldtimers aan die vervolgens door de politie in bijzijn van een officier van justitie ter plekke in beslag werden genomen. Bij de aangetroffen oldtimers was weliswaar een gestolen in Amsterdam gestolen Jaguar E-type aanwezig, maar helaas voor de eigenaar niet de gezochte. De autobende die erachter schuil gaat, loopt nog vrij rond. Dat zal echter niet meer lang duren, verwacht de privedetective John Vullers die de zaak eigenhandig oploste.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Het verhaal laat zich lezen als een jongensboek. privedetective John Vullers krijgt het verzoek om een in september 2016 gestolen Jaguar E-type (waarde ca \u20ac70.000,&#8211;) op te sporen. In december 2016 wordt een groene Jaguar E-type 4.2 cabrio ontvreemd uit de Q park parkeergarage aan de Aaron Coplandstraat te Amsterdam. Ook deze eigenaar schakelt Vullers in.<\/p>\n<p>Al snel stuit de detective op camerabeelden. Daarop is te zien hoe de daders in een gestolen Mini de blauwe Jaguar uit 1966 aan een touw wegslepen uit de Amsterdamse Chrysantenstraat. De auto wordt \u00e9\u00e9n kilometer verderop in een garagebox verstopt. Als Vullers op een avond een kijkje neemt, verschijnen meerdere ongure types met klauwhamers op straat. <em>&#8221; De boodschap was duidelijk, ze wilden me in elkaar meppen&#8221;<\/em> vertelt Vullers nuchter. &#8220;<em> Ik zei, ik ben weg, doei!&#8221; \u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Vullers werkte meer dan dertig jaar bij de politie en laat zich niet snel afschrikken. Vullers stuitte op nog een verdachte auto, een Ferrari 360 F1 Modena die te koop werd aangeboden op de website Mobile.DE. Vullers stuurt een pseudokoper Die krijgt de Ferrari te zien. De verdachte die Vullers op de korrel heeft , blijft buiten beeld, ook die stuurt een tussenpersoon. &#8220;In dat gesprek werd ons zowel de groene alsook de blauwe Jaguar E-type aangeboden&#8221;. Daar zijn we toen niet meteen op ingegaan om geen argwaan te wekken, verklaard Vullers.<\/p>\n<p>De politie wordt ingelicht, maar geeft te kennen geen capaciteit te hebben om de zaak meteen op te pakken. Vullers dreigt het spoor kwijt te raken en moet doorzetten. Drie weken geleden lukte het hem, een GPS peilbaken op een &#8216;foute&#8217; auto te plaatsen. Het signaal van dit baken leidde Vullers naar een loods in Kootwijkerbroek. Daar treft hij een loods vol (gestolen) oldtimers aan. Ook de groene cabrio staat ertussen. De gealarmeerde politie neemt de tip serieus en rukt in grote getale uit.<\/p>\n<p>Zes auto&#8217;s werden in beslag genomen. Naast de gestolen Jaguar ook een rode Porsche 911, een Ford Thinderbird een Pontiac een Mercedes-Benz en een Chevrolet Caprice. &#8221; Dit is natuurlijk waarvoor je het doet&#8221; stelt de privedetective tevreden. Met name omdat ik klanten tevreden kan stellen. Ik zag die Jaguar en dacht: &#8221; Verdorie hij zit er bij!.
