Naar nu blijkt gaat het om het doek dat vorig jaar gestolen werd uit een villa van de familie Philips, niet van de meester maar van een leerling. Vandaag 11-08-2015 staat een man terecht voor heling.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Inbraak bij familie Philips<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Bij een inbraak in de villa van de familie Philips in Eindhoven is vorig jaar\u00a0een werk\u00a0van\u00a0Rembrandt gestolen. Het werk,\u00a0een afbeelding van\u00a0Titus van Rijn, de zoon van Rembrandt, wordt nog altijd vermist.\u00a0Het nieuws over de roof komt nu pas naar buiten, omdat dinsdag een 50-jarige Eindhovenaar terechtstaat\u00a0die verdacht wordt van heling van het werk.<\/p>\n<p>De inbraak in het zwaar beveiligde Huize De Laak\u00a0vond al in\u00a0maart vorig jaar plaats. Er werd een gat in het hekwerk geknipt en alarmsystemen werden omzeild.\u00a0Politie en justitie brachten het nieuws over\u00a0de diefstal niet naar buiten. &#8222;Daar is op zich niets geheimzinnigs aan, dat doen we in de regel\u00a0nooit bij woninginbraken&#8220;, aldus een woordvoerster van de politie in Eindhoven.<\/p>\n<p>Naast het werk van Rembrandt\u00a0werd ook een dure klok meegenomen.<\/p>\n<p class=\"block_title \"><strong>Te koop aangeboden<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>De verdachte die nu voor de rechtbank in Den Bosch moet verschijnen, zou de Rembrandt en de klok te koop hebben aangeboden aan de conci\u00ebrge van de Philips-villa. Hij zou zich in oktober\u00a0bij de poort van de villa hebben gemeld en daar\u00a0de huismeester\u00a0een dvd met foto&#8217;s van de gestolen waar hebben getoond.<\/p>\n<p>Toch zijn de inbrekers en de buit nog niet gevonden, ondanks de aanhouding van\u00a0de verdachte. &#8222;Dat klopt&#8220;, aldus een woordvoerster van het Openbaar Ministerie. &#8222;Daarom zijn ook wij benieuwd naar de zitting van komende dinsdag. Hopelijk wordt er dan wat meer duidelijk.&#8220;<\/p>\n<p class=\"block_title \"><strong>Twee miljoen<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Villa De Laak was ooit het woonhuis van\u00a0Anton Philips en later ook nog enige tijd\u00a0van zijn zoon Frits. Tal van staatshoofden en leden van de koninklijke familie hebben er gelogeerd.\u00a0Tegenwoordig is het\u00a0pand een rijksmonument en wordt het\u00a0niet meer bewoond.
