Hoe triest is dit ?!<\/h2>\n

Er zou gekeken kunnen worden naar vormen van Publiek Private samenwerking met bijvoorbeeld Particuliere Recherchebureaus. In deze sector zijn veel ex politiemensen met een ruime mate van opsporingservaring actief. Het grote aantal te schrappen zaken zou daarmee aanzienlijk verminderd kunnen worden.<\/p>\n

Vandaag live in de radio uitzending L1 Vandaag door Ruben en Janna ge\u00efnterviewd over de aangedragen oplossing omtrent publiek private samenwerking door de overheid (politie- justitie) met private partijen zoals particuliere recherchebureaus. Voor alle partijen zit er een win win situatie in. Uiteraard zijn er een aantal hobbels te nemen maar waar een wil is is een weg.<\/p>\n

Het aantal zaken waar de politie geen onderzoek naar doet, is in drie jaar meer dan verdubbeld. Dat bevestigt de politie na berichtgeving van de NOS<\/a><\/em>. Het schrappen van de zaken heeft vooral te maken met capaciteitsgebrek en het feit dat de zaken scherper beoordeeld worden.<\/p>\n

Vorig jaar werden zo’n 32.000 zaken vroegtijdig be\u00ebindigd omdat de politie te weinig mensen had om ze te behandelen. De politie behandelde 26.000 andere zaken niet, omdat ze inschatte dat ze niet kansrijk genoeg waren om er onderzoek naar te doen.<\/p>\n

In totaal werden 62.293 zaken geschrapt. In 2018 ging het om zo’n 25.700 zaken die niet werden onderzocht. In 2019 steeg dat aantal door naar zo’n 36.000 zaken.<\/p>\n

Dat er meer zaken geschrapt worden omdat ze niet kansrijk zijn, komt volgens de politie vooral doordat scherper gekeken wordt naar welke zaken zinvol genoeg zijn om er tijd en moeite in te steken. Ook worden steeds meer aangiftes afgedaan zonder de politie, bijvoorbeeld door een doorverwijzing naar hulpinstanties of door mediation.<\/p>\n

Het is niet nieuw dat er meer zaken zijn dan personeel om ze te behandelen, zegt Hanneke Ekelmans van de korpsleiding tegen de NOS. <\/em>„Maar daarnaast zijn zaken de laatste jaren steeds complexer geworden. Ze vragen meer tijd en daarom kun je met hetzelfde aantal mensen minder zaken behandelen. Dat zien we natuurlijk liever anders, maar het is wel zo.“<\/p>\n

Hoe minder zaken worden behandeld, hoe meer worden opgelost<\/h2>\n

In Oost-Nederland, Oost-Brabant en Rotterdam werden vorig jaar de meeste zaken geschrapt wegens capaciteitsgebrek. Wel lukt het deze eenheden beter om zaken op te lossen. 29 procent van de zaken in Oost-Nederland werd opgelost vorig jaar, tegenover een kwart in heel het land.<\/p>\n

Volgens de politie toont dit aan dat hoe beter aangiften worden beoordeeld, hoe effectiever opsporingscapaciteit kan worden ingezet op de belangrijkste en kansrijkste zaken.<\/p>\n

Zaken die te maken hebben met cybercrime en oplichtingskwesties werden vorig jaar het vaakst weggeschoven. Ook bleven met regelmaat zaken over mishandeling liggen, net als over fietsendiefstal, vandalisme en winkeldiefstal.
